Daredevil climbs Sydney skyscraper crane 300 metres without safety equipment
A daredevil climbed a crane atop a Sydney skyscraper to nearly 300 metres without safety equipment, with footage posted to social media. The man bypassed security at 55 Pitt Street, scaling scaffolding and 40 flights of stairs before reaching the crane's peak. NSW Police Commissioner Mal Lanyon called the stunt "absolutely stupid," citing the extreme risk of fatal injury.
