Three hikers killed in Mount Dukono volcano eruption in Indonesia
Three hikers have died and more are in hospital after a volcano erupted on Indonesia’s Maluku Islands. Mount Dukono began spewing a column of ash 10km into the sky at 7.41am local time on Friday. The eruption was accompanied by “weak to strong rumblings”, Indonesian authorities.
