Australia ends exile to mount America's Cup challenge
Australia will mount its first America's Cup challenge since 2000, competing in the 2027 event in Naples, Italy, led by Olympic gold medallist Tom Slingsby. The bid ends a near 30-year drought following Australia's historic 1983 victory. New Zealand has won the last three editions since 2017.
