Author Craig Silvey pleads guilty to distributing child exploitation material
Australian author Craig Silvey pleaded guilty to distributing child exploitation material and possessing such material in Fremantle Magistrates Court on Tuesday. The 43-year-old, known for his 2009 novel Jasper Jones, was arrested in January after allegedly engaging with other offenders online. Two charges were dropped. Schools nationwide have removed his books from curricula following the charges.
